ANR Mission Pack for CFS3 (v1.0)
Freeware May 2003
This is a package of 18 missions for CFS3 which, if flown in
chronological order, are meant to provide a mini-campaign which follows plausibly historical events. The missions trace the experiences of a hypothetical ANR pilot from midwinter 1943/44 through to the end of the war in the spring of 1945.

To fly the campaign, start a new pilot and fly the missions in chronological order.

There are two versions of the install program. One installs missions which only uses default planes as AI. The other installs missions which use only 1% planes (which are found at Sim-Outhouse) as AI. Some of the plane versions are not historically accurate, since the appropriate 1% plane is not yet available. In particular only the stock me-262a is used. If you want to fly both, just run both installers.

The player plane is the (stock or avhistory) german bf-109g6 for the first few missions, but then switches to the ANR painted Bf109g6 and Bf109g10 which are available at the Ground Crew site (http://www.groundcrewdesign.com). Both the bf109g6 and bf109g10 use the 1% airfile bf109g6 airfile. Many thanks to the people at Avhistory for providing these high-quality planes.

WHAT NEEDS INSTALLING:

There are missions, building, facility, weather and spawn files, which are put into their proper places by the appropriate mission install program.

You must separately download and install the ANR bf109g6 and ANR bf109g10 from the Ground Crew site (http://www.groundcrewdesign.com).

If you wish to fly the Avhistory missions, you must install the following Avhistory planes, found at their site Sim-Outhouse. The required planes are:

1. 3gr_b_109g_6
2. 3gb_spitfire_9c_Basta
3. 3us_p_38j_25
4. 3us_p_47d_23
5. 3us_p_51b-5
6. 3us_b_26g

It is recommended that you also run the levelbomber installer program, which converts the avhistory b-26g into a level bomber (instead of a dive-bombing tactical bomber), as was done for the stock b26g by the cfs3.1 patch. This keeps the b-26s from dive bombing from high altitude during their bomb runs.

TO FIND THE MISSIONS WHEN PLAYING THE GAME:

Go to the Missions tab, and select the Historical missions. The new missions will appear among the missions listed, with names starting with ANR.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

The missions are meant to be historically plausible, and are
modelled on a composite ANR pilot taken from a number of
WWII memoirs.

ENJOY!

LEGAL STUFF:
